Our Preschool class is utilizing a curriculum that encourages play and object lessons.

Students will work through 4-8 week themed units that introduce them to a variety of Bible stories while also helping them to recognize and develop Christian characteristics. They will utilize games, crafts, stories, and play to internalize the truths found in the Bible.

Our children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade use the Dwell Curriculum published by Faith Alive Christian Resources.

The sessions are biblical and reformed, kid-friendly, and created to encourage the children to really think about and embrace the Word of God and, of course, God Himself, Father, Son & Holy Spirit. The lessons all begin with the premise that the Bible is the true Word of God and the stories are accurate accounts of what really happened. The lessons are designed to teach more than just head knowledge but also to encourage the children to live out their faith every day. The Kindergarten and 1st graders are led to "Imagine" themselves in each story, and the 2nd and 3rd graders "Wonder" at the miracles, truths, and awesomeness of our God. Each session includes four simple steps: Breathe, Tell and Wonder, Pray, and Respond. Families are also encouraged to continue the discussions at home using "God's Big Story Cards" which help everyone to discuss and reflect upon the lessons together.
